May 4 Loveland Garden Club Annual Mother's Day Plant Sale
Location: JAX West Farmer's Market Loveland, corner of Highway 34 and Wilson (This is a new location for this year only). Time: 9 am to 1 pm;  Selling perennials, annuals, herbs, veggies and over 80 varieties of home-grown tomato and pepper starts.  Planted containers and a variety of other items such as vegetables and fresh baked strudel will also be available for purchase.  Proceeds provide Horticulture Scholarships for Front Range Community College students as well as grants to  local horticulture-related nonprofits.
   
May 8 & 12 Community Garden Clean Up Days
Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail; Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; Help with tasks such as cleaning up flower beds, sanding benches, spreading mulch, etc. Please RSVP online. For information see the calendar on the website or call 970-476-0103.
   
May 6 - 17 Online: Gardens of Spring Creek Spring Plant Sale
The Gardens on Spring Creek in Fort Collins; Order plants online May 6 - May 17, with curbside pickups May 12 - 21.  See website for details.
   
May 15 Organic Victory Drive-Up Plant Market
Location: TBD; This event is hosted by Front Range Organic Gardeners, Inc. (FROG); Time: 9 am - 1 pm; All-organic, seed-started tomatoes (including heirlooms), peppers and other vegetables; houseplants are also available.  See www.gardenfrog.org.
   
June 25 - 27 Colorado Lavender Festival
Town of Palisade and nearby areas in western Colorado; See www.coloradolavender.org for opportunities that include special tours on Friday, a festival in the park and Lavender and Wine dinner on Saturday, and self-guided farm tours on Sunday.
